TR‑04 · Textile Recycling

Waste not.
Give a lot.

Ashoka Group runs Yellow Bin, the only social enterprise in Johor recognised and authorised by the City Council to carry out textile recycling collection, and partners with GreenSquare to run the same model across the causeway in Singapore.

How It Works

Collected once, useful twice.

Every donation is sorted, reused where possible, and routed to the families and causes that need it most.

Waste Not

We love reuse: the majority of what we clear is reusable, in that it can be used by someone else in its current state.

Give A Lot

Our mission is to alleviate suffering. Every donation collected helps deliver assistance to underprivileged families in our care.

Collection Network

Bins placed across the community make donating effortless: clean clothes, shoes, linens and bags, collected and redirected responsibly.

In the Field

From doorstep to distribution.

Collection, sorting and hand‑delivery: the full cycle of a donation, across both the Johor and Singapore network.

Our Partners

One network, two markets.

Yellow Bin runs the collection network in Johor; GreenSquare extends the same model across the causeway in Singapore.

Yellow Bin · Johor, Malaysia

Authorised, accountable, and charity‑backed.

Yellow Bin upholds integrity in the name of charity: every contribution is entrusted to a designated charity partner, Amitabha Malaysia, ensuring donations reach the underprivileged families they're intended for.

GreenSquare · Singapore

The same model, across the causeway.

GreenSquare runs clothing and shoe donation bins across Singapore, applying the same collect‑sort‑redistribute standard that Yellow Bin holds in Johor: one recycling network, operating in two markets.
